Mr. Williams has been involved in the tourism industry for well over two decades. He has served his indigenous brothers and sisters for five years as the chief of Dominica and is also a former board director on the National Development Corporation which is now known as the Dominica Discover Authority.​​

Mr.Williams is well versed on indigenous matters not just in his home island but around the world. He has served as the regional Co-chair and memeber of the financial committy for the Caribbean Indigenous people at the OAS and has travelled around the world on behalf of his indigenous brothers and sisters.
